Η ταινία είναι βασισμένη στην πραγματική ιστορία ενός αναρχικού και επαναστατικού ακτιβιστή, τον Πακ Γιολ, κατά τη διάρκεια την Ιαπωνικής αποικιοκρατικής εποχής. Αφού ο μεγάλος σεισμός Κάντο πλήτει το Ιαπωνικό νησί, αρχίζει το χάος.
